In 1991, the Talking Eyes English Springer Spaniels were founded by a young Boris Pegan in Banjaluka, formerly Yugoslavia. My journey with these remarkable dogs began in 1986 when, as a child, I acquired my first show English Springer Spaniel, eventually showcasing him in former Yugoslavia, Hungary, and Austria. The foundation of my breeding program was CH Sieger’s Charlotte Horets, imported from Denmark in 1992.

Subsequently, I spent a decade in the United States, residing in Las Vegas and Hollywood, where I pursued a career as a professional groomer. My American sojourn, beginning in 1994, provided me with invaluable opportunities to learn from the foremost experts in the breed and the wider canine world. After ten years in the USA, I returned to Zagreb, Croatia, in February 2003. There, I established a highly successful grooming shop, pet store, and grooming academy. During this period, I diligently pursued my judges’ education and successfully passed my judge’s exam.

With 37 years of experience in the dog world, I have bred Champion English Springer Spaniels on four continents, using “THE TALKING EYES” prefix. Four of my dogs achieved the prestigious title of Best in Show on three different continents. Dogs from my breeding efforts extended to the USA, South Africa, Asia, and throughout Europe, resulting in champion dogs and Champion titles in over 30 countries on four continents. In addition, I bred a World Winner.
